Who is Route 66 Labs?
Route 66 Labs is the victim of years of sales and marketing failures. When others said "It can't be done"...we found a way to make it happen.
If you're in an industry that is breaking new ground. Its hard to look over your shoulder for ideas from the past.
Route 66 Labs has a unique skillset to look at what you have, what the obstacles are, and find ways to overcome them long before its an issue.
After years of being subjected to poor sales strategies and ill fated marketing efforts, something had to be done.
Ironically the catalyst for innovation was simply asking "Why Not?". Sometimes the real answer is hidden in the excuses of others.
OFFICIAL BRAND MANAGER
FOR TICAL IN NEW MEXICO
Route 66 Labs is unique in the fact that we started on the sales side, and migrated to the marketing side. Because we know what buyers are looking for, our marketing efforts are the missing link between two worlds that are normally at odds.
Route 66 Labs sits on the crossroads of multiple disciplines. Because of the network we have we're able to work with industry leading experts to create products that are out of this world. We work with hemp, cannabis, spices, and more.
Depending on the industry you're in an "out of the box" website may not be a fit. If you're in a restrictive industry, like hemp or cannabis, you have to be aware of who will allow what, or face the consequences. We've built sites for hemp, cannabis, and even firearms.
Unlike a lot of companies who "rinse and repeat" the same strategy Route 66 Labs takes the time to understand the challenges of your business. We factor in what your competition is doing and find a path that provides maximum impact for maximum ROI.
Our journeys have taken us all over the world. Because of that we've got plenty of companies who are doing good work in multiple areas. When great minds come together amazing things happen. Depending on the project, we might have the perfect partner for your next project!
Route 66 Labs is dedicated to either finding a way or building a way to the goal. Often times people run out of original ideas. We look at what worked, and create solutions that are truly wild. To that end, we even created a feature length film to hide advertising in a regulated space.

The Gortach of Missouri
The Gortach of Missouri is a fictitious monster that is the embodiment of anti-hemp/cannabis sentiment.
The Gortach pulls from Irish Folklore which is connected to early Missouri settlers who grew hemp. The legend of the Gortach is intertwined into actual historic events.
The entire film was intended to be a social media play to promote cannabis brands. There is no restriction on promoting a movie your in, but there is a restriction if you're a cannabis company.

Captain Crossfade is a 50ml shot with 2 very interesting hemp cannabinoids. THC-V, which is credited with being a source of energy, elevated mood, focus, and appetite suppressant. And CBC, another hemp derived cannabinoid that is a "force multiplier" for other molecules in your system.
Combined these two non-psychoactive ingredients give the consumer a 5-8 hour boost of energy and focus. If the consumer also indulges in Cannabis use the CBC multiplies the effects of THC.
The best part is that there aren't any jitters or a "come down" effect as you would find with energy drinks and caffine.
Hemp Based Energy Drink
Route 66 Labs worked with Xceptor Labs to formulate a plan to take their products to market.
With a heavy background in the science of their product, translating it to layman's terms proved difficult. The semi-technical background of Route 66 Labs helped bridge the gap from high science to everyday joe.
The website, the affiliate programs, and even the social media strategy all walk the line of science, and common sense.

Watch an Episode
Waxy Browns Flower Power Hour was a weekly 2 hour FM radio show out of Rolla Missouri.
At the time, it was one of the first shows that talked about hemp and cannabis. Everything was on the table from the culture, the science, the politics, and the industry as a whole.
The show ran for almost 2 years and was eventually cancelled by the Radio Station, citing a pending sale and concerns from
Route 66 Labs helped implement sponsor packages, events, promotions, collaborations, and more.

Watch Reveille Reveal Ad
Reveille is the result of several universal experiences from cannabis users, overconsumption. For many people in adult use states, the cannabis of today is leaps and bounds more potent than what they had in the 1960s.
So, its not uncommon to find first time users, or re-engaging users who over consume THC products. The anxiety and panic sets in and they have a very expensive night in the ER.
Reveille is a collaboration with one of the top endocannabinoid researchers in the country, Chip Paul.
A few drops of this all natural product lets the consumer come back from the edge. Users report "sobering up" in a matter of minutes.

Dutch Brothers Wellness

Working with the team at Dutch Brothers Wellness & Charlie Boy Pet Wellness Route 66 Labs reshaped the brands. The branding, labeling, and marketing for their two main lines was very fragmented.
Route 66 Labs cleaned up and streamlined the logos for both brands. Furthermore we built out a "Pack" of dog personas to help market Charlie Boy Pet Wellness products.
With affiliate marketing programs, non-profit tie ins, and other key elements Dutch Brothers Wellness and Charlie Boy Pet Wellness are now able to operate on the level they were hoping for.
E-Commerce and Brand Strategy
Route 66 Labs not only helped TICAL find a New Mexico partner for the brand, but was able to step into the role of State Brand Manager.
Leveraging local knowledge and contacts Route 66 Labs will be the boots on the ground for TICAL and Method Man by proxy when it comes to this exciting brand.

Watch a Wax Off Ad Now
Waxy Brown, the host of Waxy Browns Flower Power Hour, wanted to create a product that could clean glass. More specifically glass that has cannabis residue on it.
Through a partnership, arranged by Route 66 Labs, Waxy Brown Wax Off was born.
The product does not need salts or detergents to dissolve residue. Because the audience has a sense of humor, the decision was made to "lean into" the childish puns and humor.

Following Waxy Browns Flower Power Hour being discontinued by the FM station. There was a void in the market for Missouri Cannabis culture.
For years the FM show was a great source of information for events, products, and changes to state law.
Without the FCC looking over our shoulder, or the constraints of FM Broadcasting, Waxy Browns Revue can finally provide the content our team has been looking for.
Produced by and Co-Hosted Justin Trowbridge from Route 66 Labs.

Missouri Growers Cup
Missouri recently hosted their first Growers Cup. The organizers were introduced to Route 66 Labs and asked for a video element to help with promotion.
